The site

The website banquedorient.net belongs to the Banque d'Orient Shareholders' Community and presents a civil case of bearer shareholders, its documents, the books and the documentary. By using it you accept these terms.

We are not a bank. The site offers no banking, investment or legal services, sells or buys no shares, bonds or other securities, and asks for no money, membership or signatures. Anyone asking you for money in the name of the Banque d'Orient or of the Community is not acting for us.

We have nothing to do with Artemis Sorras, the "600 billion" claims or any "Banque d'Orient bonds".

The content

The texts present the bearers' position and rest on documents filed in court or held in public archives. They are not legal, tax or investment advice. We make every effort to be accurate but do not guarantee completeness or freedom from error; if you find a mistake, write to us.

Documents are shown as single-page copies bearing the Community's watermark. The originals belong to the bodies or archives named for each document.

What is allowed

You may read, cite and quote extracts for information, research, teaching or journalism, naming the source, for example "Banque d'Orient Shareholders' Community, document D30".

Not allowed: removing or altering the watermark; commercial use of texts or images without written permission; presenting the material in a way that implies you speak for us; using the name of the Banque d'Orient or of the Community to ask for money or to sell securities; interfering with the site or copying it in bulk by automated means.

Liability, links, changes

The site is provided as is. We are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of its content, nor for the content of external sites we link to.

We may change the content and these terms; the version in force is always the one published here, with its date. These terms are governed by Greek law.
